Opposition will Not Be Allowed to Hold Lahore Rally: PM

If the law is broken then a case will be registered against the organizers

WEB DESK: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) will not be allowed to hold a rally in Lahore and will not put any obstacle but if the law is broken then a case will be registered against the organizers.

In an interview on private TV, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the morality of the western society is still better than ours.

In Britain, if someone is accused of looting public wealth, he can never go to parliament.

Taking the opposition in stride, he said that these people had been in power for 30 years, must answer, I was not a public office holder.

However, I gave a money trail of property in the court.

He says that two parties have been in power for 30 years and have filed cases against each other.

I will not give NRO: PM

Musharraf gave them NROs which increased the debt of the country.

The Prime Minister said that Musharraf gave him NRO to save his seat.

If I have to forgive him, should I not release the prisoners in the jails first?

If I have to leave this chair, I will leave, but I will not give NRO.

Corona is Increasing Rapidly: PM

Referring to the PDM meeting, he said that the cases of Corona were increasing rapidly in Lahore.

Two and a half weeks ago, the government had canceled all the meetings and was trying to implement the code of conduct (SOPs).

He said that he would not allow the PDM to hold a rally in Lahore nor would he obstruct the rally but if the law is broken, he would file an FIR.

Their meetings will make a difference to me, it is their misunderstanding.

It may be recalled that the opposition Ittehad-e-Pakistan Democratic Movement has announced a public meeting in Lahore on December 13.

Meanwhile, Lahore Deputy Commissioner Mudassar Riaz has refused to allow the PDM to hold a meeting at Minar Pakistan on December 13.
