QUETTA: Two federal cabinet ministers, Ali Zaidi and Zulfi Bukhari, who belong to the Shia sect, have returned unsuccessfully from Quetta. The participants have announced to continue the sit-in till the arrival of the Prime Minister.
Protesters against the Machh tragedy continue for the fourth day on the Quetta Western Bypass.
At the direction of the Prime Minister, Federal Minister Ali Zaidi, Special Assistant Zulfi Bukhari and Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri called on the Hazara community in Quetta.
On the occasion, Federal Minister Ali Zaidi said that external hand was also involved in harming Pakistan.
He requested the sit-in participants to bury the dead and assured the arrival of the Prime Minister in Quetta.
Special Assistant Zulfi Bukhari also assured that the Prime Minister would definitely visit Quetta.
However, the participants of the sit-in refused to end the sit-in till the arrival of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
MWM leader Agha Raza said that although PDM is demanding resignation but we are calling Imran Khan as our leader, coming to Quetta on our demand will further enhance his honor.
On the other hand, sit-ins continue in various parts of Karachi against the brutal killing of miners in Machh.
A sit-in is also going on at the Nimish Chowrang at MA Jinnah Road, due to which the road from Capri Cinema to Gurmundar is closed for traffic.
According to the traffic police, a sit-in is also being held on University Road near Safari Park and Abul Hassan Isfahani Road near Abbas Town.
Due to which traffic from Sohrab Goth has been diverted to Rashid Minhas Road.
According to police, a sit-in is also going on near North Karachi Power House Chowrangi.
