Petroleum Products Prices May Increase

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has sent a summary of changes in petroleum products prices to the Petroleum Division.

According to sources, based on the current levy, petrol can be as expensive as Rs 5.5 and diesel is expected to increase by up to Rs 6.5.

Sources said that at present the current rate of levy on petrol is Rs 12.65 per liter and the current rate of levy on diesel is Rs 12.53 per liter.

According to sources, the final decision on OGRA’s summary will be taken by Prime Minister Imran Khan in consultation with the Finance Ministry.
