WEB DESK: The first phase of Pakistan Super League has been completed and all the four playoff teams have been confirmed.
In the first phase of PSL, each team played 10 matches, after which Islamabad United, Multan Sultans, Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings qualified for the playoffs.
In batting, Babar Azam of Karachi Kings is the top scorer with 501 runs with the help of 6 half centuries. Babar Azam’s runs average in the tournament is 71.57.
Muhammad Rizwan of Multan Sultans is second with 470 runs and Sarfraz Ahmed is third with 321 runs. Sharjeel Khan of Karachi Kings scored 312 runs in 10 matches while Sohaib Maqsood of Multan Sultans scored 304 runs.
In bowling, Shahnawaz Dahani of Multan Sultans is at the top with 20 wickets in 9 matches, Shaheen Shah Afridi of Lahore Qalandars is second with 16 wickets, Wahab Riaz of Peshawar Zalmi is third with 14 wickets and James Faulkner of Lahore Qalandars is at number fourth with 13 wickets.
Hassan Ali of Islamabad United and Saqib Mahmood of Peshawar Zalmi took 12 wickets each in the league stage.
