WEB DESK: The third and final ODI between Pakistan and England will be played today. England have 2-0 lead in the three-match series.
Both teams arrived in Birmingham yesterday where they practiced batting, fielding and bowling. The national team has to win today’s match to avoid whitewash. One to two changes are expected from Pakistan for the last ODI.
In the first ODI match, England defeated Pakistan by 9 wickets. In the second ODI, Pakistan lost by 52 runs. In the first match of the series, England decided to field after winning the toss against Pakistan. Pakistan had given England a target of 142 runs to win.
In the second match, Pakistan decided to field after winning the toss against England which proved to be wrong. Pakistan failed to achieve the target of 248 runs set by England and the entire team piled up 195 runs.
The Pakistani team is currently on a tour of England where it will play a series of three ODIs and three T20 Internationals against the hosts from July 8 to 20.
The match will start at 5 pm Pakistan time.
