Roads in London Flooded Due to Torrential Rains, Train Service Suspended

Social media users say they have not seen such torrential rains in London in 20 years

MONITORING DESK: One of the most beautiful cities in the world, London’s roads have been flooded after heavy rains.

Due to the accumulation of water on the roads, the traffic system has been severely affected while the domestic train service has also been suspended.

According to the BBC, the rains have severely affected south-west London, including Barnes, Rains Park and Richmond, while many areas in north London, including Golders Green and High Gate, have been inundated.

Due to the accumulation of water on the roads, vehicles were submerged in water while in many areas, citizens were evacuated due to water entering the houses.

After the rains, rescue workers were busy fetching water from homes. A large number of citizens also shared photos and videos on social media. Social media users say they have not seen such torrential rains in London in 20 years.
