OGRA Proposes Increase of Rs 11.50 Per Liter in Petroleum Products Prices

The decision to increase the prices of petroleum products will be taken tomorrow after consultation with the Prime Minister

ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has suggested an increase of Rs 11.5 per liter in the prices of petroleum products for the next fortnight.

According to sources, it has been proposed to increase the price of petrol by Rs11.50, high speed diesel by Rs2.40 and kerosene by Rs1.5. In addition, it has been proposed to increase the price of light diesel by Rs 1.40 paisa.

According to sources, the price hike proposals have been prepared in accordance with the existing petroleum levy. The change in petroleum levy may lead to a change in prices.

According to sources, the decision to increase the prices of petroleum products will be taken tomorrow after consultation with the Prime Minister, the notification of which will be issued by the Finance Ministry.
