Corona Restrictions Imposed in Sindh Again

The spokesman said that from Monday, shopping malls and bazaars will be open from 6 am to 6 pm, grocery, bakery and pharmacy will remain open

KARACHI: The Sindh government has once again imposed corona restriction in view of increasing cases of virus.

A meeting of Corona Task Force was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, in which important decisions were taken in view of increasing cases of Corona.

According to the Sindh Chief Minister’s Spokesperson, the Corona Task Force meeting has decided to ban wedding halls and other celebrations from Monday, while the markets will also be closed two days a week for which Friday and Sunday have been declared safe days.

The spokesman said that from Monday, shopping malls and markets will be open from 6 am to 6 pm, groceries, bakeries and pharmacies will remain open while it has been decided to close shrines across the province.

According to the spokesperson, restaurants will be closed from Monday and only takeaways will be allowed.

The spokesman said that it has been decided to close educational institutions across the province from Monday but examinations in Sindh will be held as per their schedule while 50 per cent staff in public and private sectors will be present. According to the spokesperson, all these decisions will be implemented from Monday.
