KARACHI: Schools and universities in Sindh, which have been closed since July 16 due to the global corona virus, reopened today.
The Corona virus affected the education system as well as the education sector, sometimes opening schools and sometimes closing them. In the year 2021, education process continued for only 22 days.
Schools were closed on July 16 this year due to increasing cases of corona virus, after which the teaching process in educational institutions has resumed on Monday, August 30.
The educational process has started in schools with 100% vaccination of staff and 50% attendance code.
According to the instructions of the provincial education department, schools will be open six days a week, students will be called three days under the 50 per cent attendance formula while parents of children will also have to submit corona vaccination certificates to schools.
According to Education Minister Syed Sardar Shah, only those schools will be opened where 100% vaccination of teaching and non-teaching staff has been done while parents have also been directed to get vaccinated.
