Pakistan International Airlines Procures Two More Aircraft for Its Fleet

"Both the aircraft procured by PIA are of 2017 model which will replace the old PIA aircraft"

LAHORE: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has added two more Airbus aircraft to its fleet.

According to a PIA spokesperson, PIA has procured two aircraft through tender, one leased A320 has reached Islamabad while the other will reach Pakistan in a few days.

The spokesperson said that both the aircraft procured by PIA are of 2017 model which will replace the old PIA aircraft.

According to the PIA spokesperson, Pakistan Airlines had not been able to procure aircraft for the last two years due to the global pandemic Corona and global aviation conditions.

The spokesperson further said that the acquired aircraft would enable PIA to provide better and more comfortable travel facilities to its guests.

On the other hand, talking about this, PIA CEO Air Marshal Arshad Malik especially thanked the PIA Board of Directors and the Minister of Aviation and said that the acquisition of new aircraft was due to the grace of Allah and the efforts of my team.
